Week in Review (26) (A Day Late)

Random Thoughts

This computer that I am on is so slow! I had just had my computer upgraded and reformatted, so I guess I was spoiled... The prognosis is that the video card went in it or the CPU overheated. It is an old computer, so not worth fixing. And, actually, if it is the video card it is so old they don't make replacements for my computer anymore. I have been debating back and forth whether I want to stick with desktops or change back to a laptop. I am thinking that desktops still seem to last longer, so probably the best plan is to stick with one.

Anyway, I am very happy with the amount of reading I have been doing lately. I read 8 books this week and enjoyed all of them. I am also reading some really good books this week. Hopefully I can manage to blog semi-regularly while I wait for my new computer. I have lots of books that I am anxious to talk about! I am all ready so far behind in reviewing, but I at least need to review review books, parts of series (because I regret it later if I don't), and books I have a lot to say about. Then, I might write mini-reviews on some of the other books. I am sad that my computer chose to break now. I was getting good at writing blog posts and visiting other bloggers.

  3. Hopefully your computer comes soon! I hate it too when my computer runs in slow motion.

Eight books a week - what a feat. And no book additions too. :) My TBR is scary.

  4. Wow, good work! I have been very slow in my reading lately, mostly because of work. But hopefully that will improve next month! I got Sharon Kay Penman's new book about Richard Lionheart through LibraryThing's Early Reviewew program! pretty pumped about that.

  5. **Darla: Thanks! A new computer isn't an entirely terrible thing, I suppose...

**Kim: I am so far behind I will never catch-up. The old computer I am on is just so slow it is making computer usage annoying!

**Josette: My TBR will always be scary... Some months are just better than others. :)

**Aarti: That's awesome! I hope it is as good as her previous works. It is nice to see she is writing a bit faster. :)
