THOUGHTS: I have way too many series and trilogies on the go. I was happy to finish a few in 2011, but then I started a whole bunch more. Some of the series I say I am caught up in also have books out now, but I just chose to ignore that fact for the moment.

E-Reader - 40
Borrowed From Friend - 25
THOUGHTS: One of the plans I had for 2011 was to read more books that I own. I wish I had done a bit better with that because I obviously have way too many unread books at the moment. I still think I read more books that I own this year than the last couple, so it wasn't terrible. In 2012 I would like to try and read more books that I own and less that I don't because my TBR pile could stand to get a bit smaller.

  1. I know what you mean about the new author thing. I actually joined a challenge in 2011 to read new authors, then realized that I didn't need to be challenged to do that, but to read authors I already know and love.

    1. I joined a challenge a couple years ago to read new authors and my list made me laugh. I really don't need a challenge for that... lol I really should join the seconds challenge that I have seen around, but never done so.

  2. This post makes me tired. Seriously. So much information you kept track of! The idea of putting that much information down about books I read just exhausts me! ;)

    You done good, kid. ;)

  3. Everything about this post boggles my mind! Seriously. But you know what just might amaze me the most--how many series you have going *and* the fact that you can actually keep track of them all! :)

    1. Well, one of my projects in 2011 was to figure out what series I was in the midst of. I had sort of lost track...

  4. You did so well this year, considering how much you said you did NOT read! I am really impressed that almost half the books you read were books that you already own. I think I am getting better with that, but I am not nearly as good as it as I should be, especially as I can always download free classics on the e-reader. But considering how the shelf space I have is rapidly dwindling... I need to do something!

    1. I struggled to read is more what I meant... I am hoping to do even better with reading my own books this year.

  5. One of my plans for this year is to read many more books that I actually own. I'm far too addicted to the library. Good luck to us both on that.

  7. 91 books?! That is a great year. I always read more new to me authors than old favorites for some reason.

    1. Yes, it is a bad fault of mine. I never used to do that. When I found an author I loved I read like everything by them...

  10. Wow, you had an amazing reading year! I noticed the same thing you did this year, I tend to read too many new-to-me authors too, and then I neglect the ones I already love. I should watch that too in the coming year!

Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

I am so sorry, but I turned anonymous commenting off. I have had it from the very beginning, but that is how the spam is getting by my spam filter at the moment. If it is a big deal I will turn it back on and moderate all comments. I also changed moderation from older than 14 days to older than 7.
