Where in the World is... Your Comfy Reading Spot - The Wrap-up

Another month of Where in the World are you Reading has come to an end. This month it was all about your Comfy Reading Spots. So, get comfy and I will share where others find comfort this month.

I started out the month sharing a couple of comfy moments. For me it is not only about the spot, but also the clothing and company. You can see my post by clicking here.

Teri from Henningsen Happenings shares her comfy reading spot. She also has a setting in mind for her reading and not necessarily just a spot. Like me, she typically has a reading companion. You can also see her list of where she doesn't read by visiting her post.

Then we visit with Tami from Just One More Thing... She shares a chair that has been in the family and made its way to her, and her reading, last year. It looks like the perfect set-up for great reading! You can read all about it by clicking over here.

Up next is Melissa from Avid Reader's Musings. I am very very jealous of her reading spot! (I cannot wait until I have a reading room where I can hang some of my bookish postcards on the wall!) She has the whole experience here. I would love to visit and see this room in person. It is just something you have to click over and see for yourself!

Mari from MariReads shows how having a child changes your reading and even your reading spot. She has a wonderful set-up for her and her daughter to read together. It looks like it would be very comfortable indeed and I hope her daughter has many wonderful memories of that time spent with her mother. (I know I have fond memories of my childhood rocking chair and hope it will come to live with me one day!) You can visit Mari's spot by visiting this post.

The next stop is with SuziQoregon from Whimpulsive. She shows the several different environments she likes to read in. She has something in common with me because no matter where I go to read I usually have a cat either in my face or hanging out close-by. There is a quick cameo from one of her cats just in the picture-taking. It looks like some comfy spots to read! Check them out here.

Suey from It's All About Books also loves reading in bed. Her reading environment mirrors mine almost exactly! I love lots of pillows and covers as well when it is chilly. It makes for a comfy spot! You can see her environment by visiting her blog.

Next up is Kara from Flowers of Quiet Happiness. She is also a 'reading in bed' reader. She has these really different Dr Pepper pillows that I have never seen before! It looks like a great reading environment that you should go check out.

Co-host Trish from Love, Laughter, and a Touch of Insanity is sharing her post today. She is another fan of reading in be and a comfy lazy boy recliner. I hope you will pop over and read her post here.

That's it for this month. Next month we join Trish over at Love, Laughter, and a Touch of Insanity for Bookishness Around Town. Be sure to stop on by and share your posts!

  2. Oooh Sorry. I missed this month. Which is silly because I have a bunch photos on instagram of books or me reading in bed.

  3. That was fun! I just read absolutely every one of those posts. Now it's past my bedtime. :)

I think yours was the only one I didn't comment on. Oops. I meant to say a kitty on the lap is a very fine thing. Casey is such a lovebug. I'll bet you really appreciate her when she's not blocking the pages.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

I am so sorry, but I turned anonymous commenting off. I have had it from the very beginning, but that is how the spam is getting by my spam filter at the moment. If it is a big deal I will turn it back on and moderate all comments. I also changed moderation from older than 14 days to older than 7.
