I Have Been... Take Eleven

Writing: Yay! I have been blogging lately. It had to happen eventually... Will I keep it up? I hope so, but who really knows... I would like to be better at it in 2014. I am warming up now!

Reading: Ha! Well, I finished Exit Strategy by Kelley Armstrong this morning. It was pretty good. I love her Women of the Otherworld series and it has sadly come to an end. It was about time I checked out the Nadia Stafford series just as book 3 was released.

Listening: I have been listening to Stiff by Mary Roach. I really like it! I mostly listen to audiobooks on the treadmill and haven't had access to it between moving and renovating, but that part of the house is finally cleaned out and I am getting back to it.

Looking: At elves! I got an Elf on the Shelf... Even though I have no children... I just wanted a creative Christmas project and it has been fun so far. I have been taking my regular pictures as well, but this is a nice break from the norm.

Day 5:

Day 6:

Learning: My way around. I am not really used to this area. I found the library but haven't been there yet. That I have to figure out how to manage my time better. There is just so much I want to do and I run out of time...

Anticipating: The holidays! Decorating! Finishing painting... Lots more I am not thinking about right now.

Loving: The new house. That I am reading and blogging again. That the holidays are almost here.

I like the elf in the glass with the interesting refractions.

  5. I really want to read Stiff, but I'm scared it will disturb me. I look forward to your review!

I love your elf pictures! I have children and they'd love it. I really should do some thing like that :-)

  6. Hahahaha, this is the best use of the Elf on the Shelf that I can imagine. It creeps me out as a child obedience measure (also because it has a sort of creepy little smile), but I love it as a photography project.
