Once Upon a Time Reading Challenge

Since I already read a lot of fantasy, this is not really a challenge for me. I just find if I say I want to read a certain list, I get scared of the books on that list and do not read them! So, these are just some of the countless fantasy books that I want to read. So, the goal? To read five books out of this list. It's a busy time of year, so flexibility is good. When this challenge is over, I should have graduated from university (scary). Anyways, for those that do not know anything about this challenge, click here to visit Stainless Steel Droppings.

  1. So glad you're joining in! I'm also glad my life SEEMS to be getting back to some semblance of order, I've missed visiting you.

GREAT list. Psyched to see some Gaiman on there. I assume you've read Stardust. Fantastic book.

  4. Yeah my list of what I WANT to read is way longer but I try to use these fantasys as a way to get through many of the books I already own. My pile was chosen long long ago! Its by my bed I just need to breath for a second and get to posting my list.

  5. Carl: Yep, I read Stardust last year. I am also supposed to be reading American Gods right now but I can't find it... I also read his Never book but I always call it by the wrong title.

Stephanie: Well, I doubt Anansi Boys will be one of my choices until I retrieve American Gods from wherever it decided to hide from me. :) I am not making any sort of plans for what I will read because I never follow them!

Chris: I have always wanted to read A Game of Thrones, and I have started it before, but I always get busy with whatever else is going on in my life and put it aside. I have never got that far into it, though.

nessie: I have to make a big list because I change my mind so much with what I want to read. I read by mood so I like to have options.

The Green Rider is one of my FAVOURITE fantasy novels. The sequel isn't as good, but still enjoyable. And Sara Douglass is always FABULOUS. Ah, you've got quite a list there - so many of them are books I want to read, or have read. :)

  7. Court: I feel like a kid in a candy store! So many good choices, but what to pick! I have really wanted to read The Green Rider for a long time, maybe I will make it one of my choices this time around. :)
