Across the Universe, the movie I have been looking forward to for months did not open here this weekend! I have to drive at least an hour to find it, so I need to decide if it is worth that. This is so typical, I must have weird movie interests. Stardust was only here for a week so I did not get a chance to see that either. I am so disappointed.
Nevermind, I just searched and the only place Across the Universe is playing this weekend in Canada is British Columbia... And I went up to next week to see if it was opening next week, it does not look like it.
It didn't open here either!! In New Orleans! What the hell? I was so pissed. I was all excited about seeing it. And it's not like it's a little fly by night movie, it's a major release. I don't know what the deal is.
ReplyDeleteEspecially considering I have been seeing previews on other movies at the threatre for months! I really thought they were marketing this to be one of the movies of the year and then... nothing.
ReplyDeleteI'd be really surprised if this doesn't go to wider release after a few weeks. Don't give up hope. I am looking forward to this one as well.
