Secret Santa

So, I joined up for the blogger Secret Santa, and since I live in Canada, that meant that most of the participants did not live in my country. I thought really long and hard about it, and I just ordered the present online and had it shipped straight to the person. I know this is a bit unpersonal, but shipping is crazy AND it is guaranteed to make it there before the 24th. Works for me. I think it is still fun, but I am totally sure how clear it will be that I am the secret santa. Anyways, I feel a bit bad about the lacking of the personal touch, but this is my little explanation...

  1. I am sure it will be a wonderful surprise regardless. :-)

  2. Don't feel bad about it, it's perfectly fine. And if the person doesn't realize who it is from when they get it, you can always leave a comment letting them know.

  3. I was seriously debating doing that too, but decided to buy it myself and send it early enough in hopes that it will get to them in time. I'll feel really bad if it doesn't though. :(

  5. I wanted to join in too but I had the same dilemma. Plus, it's taken forever for items from Americans to get to me. I don't know what they do at customs but at that rate my person might have gotten something by February! I think you had a great idea and creative way around it. Good for you!

Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

I am so sorry, but I turned anonymous commenting off. I have had it from the very beginning, but that is how the spam is getting by my spam filter at the moment. If it is a big deal I will turn it back on and moderate all comments. I also changed moderation from older than 14 days to older than 7.
