Bad Bloggers - Take Eight
Quiet library day. Probably a good thing!
I got four books:
Dingo by Charles de Lint - Really need to read more de Lint.
My Swordhand is Singing by Marcus Segwick - Point for Rhinoa.
Playing With Fire: A Skulduggery Pleasant Novel by Derek Landy - Read the first book a few days ago and really liked it!
Curse of the Narrow by Laura M. MacDonald - Wanted to read this book for a while!

I've got some books on hold so I'll be going to the library this week. Yay. Guess what? One of them is Emma. It'll be my first magna so I'm excited.
ReplyDeleteOooh, I really want to red Dingo! Can't wait to see what you think of it!
ReplyDeleteIliana: I am so excited you are reading Emma! I hope you like it. :)
ReplyDeleteChris: Dingo was really good. I just finished it!
Something has gone wrong, I still don't have a copy of Dingo. Must rectify the situation immediately. Glad you picked up Swordhand, will be very interested to read what you think of it.
ReplyDeleteSkulduggery is one of my favourite YA books.
ReplyDeleteThe new one ( the third in the series ) is out next week!
see you on facebook ( at Easter... so close ;)

Rhinoa: I liked Dingo. It was a good book.
ReplyDeleteRachel: Yay! Looking forward to Easter! You know there is new facebook, though, and it sucks, right? Good to know on the third Skulduggery. Hopefully my library gets it!
I added the Sedgwick book to my wish list thanks to Rhinoa, too. Now you're going to go read it, write an awesome review, and make me want it even more, aren't you? And I already checked--my library system doesn't have it, so I'll end up having to buy it. Damn, but you all are hard on person's wallet!
ReplyDeleteDebi: lol. Sorry! It might be a while before I review it, though!
ReplyDeletei'm looking into reading some de lint. which would you say is your favourite so far?
ReplyDeleteJP: The Onion Girl, although it is not the first book in the series... I have both Widdershins and Spirits in the Wires started, but haven't finished them yet...
ReplyDeleteFor young adult, so far I have read The Blue Girl and Dingo. I liked The Blue Girl better of the two, but they were both good.
I read a few others years ago, but they are not fresh enough in my head for me to really comment about.
Dingo sounds awesome. I need to read more De Lint myself.
ReplyDeleteNymeth: It was good! I am going to try and read a lot of De Lint this year. Have to see how it goes!
