Weird Connections!

So, I picked up Old Man's War at the library on Monday. Ever since I have had one song stuck in my head! Any guesses? I asked the charming comedian if he could guess what it was and he started to singing it!

  1. I like that song and I love Neil Young! Speaking of young...he looks like a baby! I'm a big fan of Pearl Jam and the lead singer is a big fan and friend of Neil Young's - they cover a few of his songs and they are always great!

  2. You know, for whatever reason the video didn't pop up right away on Google Reader, yet I knew exactly what song it was! Well, okay, I didn't "know"...but that is the song that immediately popped into my head!

  3. Amy: Yeah, that's an old video! I was playing it this morning and ended up getting booted of the computer so that I could hear other Neil Young songs... I guess I started something!

Debi: Well, I am glad you got the connection. Every time someone mentions that book I hear the song in my head. :)

  4. I like the photo, but I have to confess I'm a bad Canadian girl because I detest his voice. Even though I sing along to some of his songs (40 + year old that I am, I grew up with him on the radio), I really really hate the whiny reediness! I have Old Man's War out of the library too, Chris is starting to rack up points too. :-D

  5. I was going to say "wow, he looks so young" but I see that others beat me to it :P

  6. Susan: I am not a huge Neil Young fan, so I know what you mean! Doesn't mean I don't know most of his songs, though! This song has been stuck in my head off and on for days.

Nymeth: Yep, this is an old video. :)

  7. I envy you reading Old Man's War for the first time. That book made me a Scalzi fanatic for life! And I have been nothing but pleased with how the series progressed.

  9. Oh my...that brings back many memories! What a nice 3 minutes and 28 seconds to spend this evening. I've never read Old Man's War, but now I must.
