Bad Bloggers - Take Nine, Part Two

The amazing Maurice and his educated rodents by Terry Pratchett - Debi gets a point for sure for this one!

Slaughterhouse-five by Kurt Vonnegut - My friend Vanessa is to blame for me wanting to reread this...

A coalition of lions by Elizabeth Wein - Sequel to The Winter Prince

One piece. Vol. 1, Romance dawn by Eiichiro Oda - Point for Renay... for the Herding Cats Challenge

One piece. Vol. 2, Buggy the Clown by Eiichiro Oda - Point for Renay...

Four and twenty blackbirds by Cherie Priest - Point for Chris... for the Herding Cats Challenge. (I have wanted to read this book FOREVER)

Betrayed : a House of Night novel by P.C. Cast - Point for Stephanie... That was fast! They had to replace it, so I guess I picked a good time to request it!

Among the Mad: A Maisie Dobbs Novel by Jacqueline Winspear - Continue on with the series.... I have been blaming these books on Danielle and Iliana, so I will continue.

I'll add the links tonight and update the sidebar! In my defense I am bringing seven books back...

  1. One Piece! \o/

    I am so excited. >>

  2. Slaughterhouse-Five! Maurice! I hope you love them.

  3. Renay: I read the first one. Fun series so far!

Nymeth: I have read Slaughterhouse-Five before, but it was ages ago! I started Maurice earlier. :)

  4. Maurice is fantastic. Before I started it I thought I was about to read something fluffy. *wrong*

  5. I've haven't read Slaughterhouse-Five but it is on my list. Happy reading!

  6. I may have to pick up Slaughterhouse-Five some day and I plan on buying Betrayed tomorrow.

  7. I can just about promise you that you'll love the Cherie Priest book! It's so good...I can't wait to read the next one in the series.

I really want to read Maurice...and Slaughterhouse Five rocks!

  8. Slaughterhouse 5! Great choice! You know, that reminds me. I'm way overdue on a re-read :D

  9. You don't need any defense!!! You get them all read. It's pathetic people like me who take out 10 times more books than they can ever get read that need to make excuses. :)

  10. Slaughterhouse-Five is amazing!! And I'm glad you liked Marked!! The series is kind of addictive. Betrayed is better...Chosen is not bad, but Untamed is the best one so far. I haven't had time to read Hunted yet!

  11. Cath: I started Maurice last night and it is looking to be good so far! That will probably be my reading for tonight.

Vasilly: I had planned to read all of Vonnegut at one point, but it never happened!

Tink: Vonnegut is a good author. :) He has a lot of books, though!

Chris: Cherie Priest does sound like something I would really like. She's been on my list for like two or three years now. Glad to be finally getting to her!

    saveophelia: You should reread it!

Debi: lol. I learned yesterday that my library has no limit! That could be bad!

Stephanie: I really am liking Cast so far. I look forward to our review!

  12. I'm so sorry I haven't been around your blog for a long time. I haven't been blogging much myself, but I just wanted to drop by and say hi, wish you a good weekend and a nice Easter (if you celebrate that) and apologize for being scarce.

I am finishing my Master thesis and this takes up most of my time. Hopefully, by the end of May, I will be able to blog more and participate more around the blogosphere.

I am still reviewing books from time to time on my blog, but I am not really active.

I don't expect you to come running visiting and commenting, I just wanted to let you know that I am very much alive and I miss reading and commenting on your blog very much.

This is a personal message written to all the blogowner, whose delightful blogs I visit on a regular basis, but it has been copy/pasted. So if you find it on other blogger's blogs, that is why.

I look very much forward to be active again - and apologize once again for not being active the past month and not being able to be active for another month or two.

  13. Glad you are still alive, Louise! :)

  14. Slaughterhouse-Five is on my list too, although not as a re-read. I love this Bad Bloggers idea, I think I'll have to join you in these posts!

  15. I look forward to reading your thoughts on Four and Twenty Blackbirds. I too have really been wanting to read Cherie Priest but have yet to do so. I'm sure your review will be yet another telling me to get out there and read it already!

Danielle is a wonderful source of gift ideas for my wife. She loves the Maisie Dobbs series.

  16. Joanna: You should do Bad Bloggers. It's fun!

Carl: I look forward to reading Cherie Priest at some point and time in the not so distant future!

I am so sorry, but I turned anonymous commenting off. I have had it from the very beginning, but that is how the spam is getting by my spam filter at the moment. If it is a big deal I will turn it back on and moderate all comments. I also changed moderation from older than 14 days to older than 7.
