Books in the Mail - Book Christmas

I have probably used that post title before, but it explains things so well!

Look what I got from Harper Collins Canada yesterday! I should've taken pictures...

Haunted by Barbara Haworth-Attard
Hamlet & Ophelia by John Marsden
The Day The Falls Stood Still by Cathy Marie Buchanan
The Wish Maker by Ali Sethi
The Hunchback Assignments by Arthur Slade
Manhood for Amateurs by Michael Chabon
Rampant by Diana Peterfreund

And, two books from Random House Canada:

Rowed Trip: From Scotland to Syria by Oar by Colin Angus and Julie Angus
Frostbitten by Kelley Armstrong

And, today I got:
The Twisted Heart by Rebecca Gowers
The Faceless Ones by Derek Landy (New Skulduggery Pleasant!)

Now, if I just had more hours in the day to read, things would be perfect! I have been waiting forever for some of those books and I can't wait to read them!

Special thanks to Deanna (Harper Collins) and Jessica (Random House) for my bookish day!

Any suggestions on what I should read first?

  2. Yes you should have taken pictures. I bet it was a gorgeous pile!

Start with anything but Rampant :) I still need to get my copy!

  3. I have only heard of The Day the Falls Stood Still, I think... But Rowed Trip would probably go to the top of my TBR! Though I've heard a lot about Michael Chabon... and I know you like Kelley Armstrong!

  5. The Day the Falls Stood Still! because it is fantastic and will be in my top 10 ten list this year.

Or either Hamlet and Ophelia or The Hunchback Assignments because I have them and am dying to read them, so would love to hear your opinion.

  7. Wow! That is a big pile of books. I can understand why you'd need more hours in the day. You're a fast reader, tho. Bet you'll be posting reviews in no time. Have fun, Kailana. Bet you will.
