Random Thoughts
I tried to clean up a bit this week. Last week I kept starting things and then not actually finishing them. Then this week I had all the inter-library loans to worry about. They were all books I really wanted to read and it was hard to decide just what I was going to worry about. I would like to read all of them, but I am not sure if I will have enough time. At least I did better on the overall reading after the depressing fact I only read one last week.

I hear you on the interlibrary loan thing! It's just to easy to request books during breaks at work, and now my pile is sadly massive...Good luck with yours!
ReplyDeleteI hate when ILL books all come at the same time! I want to read them, but don't have time before they're supposed to go back. I've been trying to space out my requests, but that doesn't always help either.
ReplyDeleteWowza! Lots of stuff going on. :)
ReplyDeleteI miss ILL but I have WAY too many of my own books to worry about!
Holy crap, Kelly!!! I can't remember the last time I've got that much read in a month, let alone a week! You never cease to amaze me, my dear!
ReplyDeleteYou're doing great with all the reading!! Me on the other hand...I haven't read a book from the library since December.. I have to learn how to say no to review books. April-Sep are going to be my months to read what I want...hope I stick to my guns!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
It sounds like you had a great week in reading. I've heard lots of good things about The Sherlockian and am looking forward to reading it myself. Hope this week goes just as well for you!
ReplyDeleteCharlotte: I have myself on a very tight rule system for the library at the moment. Instead of seeing if my library has books, I write them down and then request them slowly... If I check and the library does have them I am likely to request them...
ReplyDeleteKim: These were ILL from 2010, so I was not expecting an overload in February! I learned my lesson. :)
Tink: I wish I read less library books and more of my own books sometimes...
Debi: Well, some of them were really short... It was almost cheating...
Staci: Hopefully you do stick to your guns! I am hoping that will be me in March, but we shall see!
Samantha: Thanks! Hope you had a great reading week, too!
