What Books Are You Looking Forward to in 2012? Are there books like Bitterblue and Fair Game for me that you have been waiting forever for?
I'm sooo excited for the next installment in Harkness' series!! Great list :)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe the next Fables will take so long :( I saw November and got all excited thinking it was just in time for Christmas, and then remembered your post was about next year :P
ReplyDeleteSo great to have a date for the next Harkness book! I can't wait. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's funny how I missed the Harkness book but screamed once I saw the cover of Wolves. I hope the cover of Shadow of Night changes. It's not as stunning as Discovery of Witches.
ReplyDeleteThere are a couple there that I'm familiar with. I'm blown away by the fact that we're now starting to talk about 2012!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on the first two!
ReplyDelete*swoons* Until I Die...can't wait. Can't wait.
ReplyDeleteSheesh...I can't even keep up with the books that are already out, let alone the ones yet to be released. :P And can anyone answer the question as to why I have yet to catch up on Fables?!! What is my problem?!!
ReplyDeleteNot my kind of stuff - but the cover of the Amy Plum book is incredible. Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI can't think of any books I am looking forward to. I can barely get to the books out last year that I want to read. I'm not up on current book events. Altho there is an author I've met on twitter that has a book out in '12, I think. Maybe I'll read it in 2015.
The same two! Briggs and Cashore. Tho that Until I Die has a stunning cover, need to see what series it goes with!
ReplyDeleteThe cover of Until I Die is gorgeous and I am eager for Bitterblue - it has taken forever!
ReplyDeleteShelleyrae @ Book'd out
I'm soooo excited about BITTERBLUE. I plan to reread GRACELING and FIRE as soon as it's out.
ReplyDeleteI'm also well-nigh desperate to get my hands on FLORA'S FURY by Ysabeau S. Wilce. It's been more than two years since the last book. I need to know how everything ends up for Flora!
I can't wait for THE MASTER OF HEATHCREST HALL by Galen Beckett, either. And I desperately hope THE REPUBLIC OF THIEVES by Scott Lynch makes it out into the world in 2012. It's been my most anticipated release of the year for five years running now.
**Kat: Me too!!
ReplyDelete**Ana: As I said in the email I sent you, there is a new Fables out in December. :)
**Carrie: Me either!
**Vasilly: Yes, I am not so enthralled with the cover for Shadow of Nights. I am hoping the book will be good, though.
**Staci: Me too!
**Nicola: I always get excited about more Fables!
**Christina: And the covers for the trilogy are wonderful!
ReplyDelete**Debi: I read Fables too fast. Now I am constantly waiting for new ones...
**Care: Well, these are series I am caught up in... There are plenty more coming out where I am far behind in the reading order...
**Lisa: Yay for Briggs and Cashore! And, yes, Until I Die has a fantastic cover. :)
**bookdout: I know! I hope nothing changes the release date...
**Memory: Me too! I wouldn't really be able to remember those two books at this point.
I need to get my hands on the second book by Ysabeau.... My library didn't have it, so I fell behind.
Yes, Scott Lynch is someone has been looking forward to. I have to read the first book, first. Same with Galen Beckett...
