October in Review

What I Learned

That I love this time of the year, but never seem to have enough time for all the things I would love to do. I did have a successful time with the R.I.P. Challenge this year, but there were many more books I would have loved to read. My numbers this year are not entirely where I wanted them to be and I don't think November and December are going to be enough to bring them up a bit. I always get slack with reading and blogging in December. I am hoping for a bit better reason this year, though. Last year the cc's (charming comedian aka 'the guy') sister passed away from cancer. It all happened very fast and it obviously put a damper on the holidays. There are a few things happening now, though, that make me think that the holidays will be coinciding with another cancer-related death. It's a sad disease and this is a depressing beginning to a post...

Moving on! We are hoping to be announcing the start date for the Advent Calendar Tour very soon. I hope you are all getting excited about it and have some post ideas in mind! If you have no idea what I am talking about, you can visit the blog here to see all the fun from last year.

Thoughts for November

As with every November, I would like to tackle some of the books on my TBR pile that deal with WWI, WWII, etc. I have so many and with everything else, they seem to get neglected... What are your plans for November?

  2. You caught up on the Skulduggery Pleasant series! I think I'm still on book three or four. I like to listen to the audiobooks, though, and I haven't had much opportunity to actually listen to them this year...booo. :(

  6. **Amused: It didn't seem that way, but maybe it was...

**Anastasia: I love Skulduggery! I tried to listen to the first one on audio, but it was from the library and it was badly scratched...

**Debi: I am hoping... It is just another person that will greatly affect the cc and then me by association. It's hard to be cheery when everyone else is depressed!

**Chris: I am glad you will be doing the Advent Calendar. I also talked Debi into it. I am very excited because I try every year and she said yes this year. :)

    **Jules: Thanks!
