Book Time with Bess! The Bess Crawford Read Along!

Last year I remember Jen from Devourer of Books joining in for a read-along of the Maisie Dobbs series. I love that series and thought it was great that so many people were discovering her books for the first time. In my blog-hopping today I discovered that Book Club Girl, the host of that read-along, is hosting another one for the Charles Todd Bess Crawford series.

Here's the schedule:

March 26th - A Duty to the Dead discussion
April 30th - An Impartial Witness discussion
May 1st – A Bitter Truth paperback goes on sale
May 29th – A Bitter Truth discussion (May 28th is Memorial Day)
June 5th - An Unmarked Grave – the new hardcover goes on sale
June 25th – An Unmarked Grave discussion
June 28th – Book Club Girl on Air Show with Charles Todd to Discuss the Entire Series

I am planning on joining in. Apparently you can get the first book for $1.99. I am off to see if that option is open for me in Canada. I hope other people will join in! (If you are participating in the War Through the Generations challenge this is a good idea!)

    I'm so excited about this read-along! I listened to A Duty to the Dead on audio, and already reviewed it, but will definitely chime in on the discussion. And I am in for the other books, because I absolutely loved it.

    Sounds like fun! I just downloaded A Duty to the Dead from my library to my Nano. Now to make a note to visit during the read-along...
