I thought I was the only one to ever read those books! I have read them more than once and fell in love with Belgarath, so remember that.. you can't have him! LOL LOL... ok man I can't wait to hear some of your reviews!!!!
ReplyDeletethis is a great pool. I am going to look into a couple of these. I saw a Mercedes Lackey on another's ideas for reads. I haven't read anything by her before...
ReplyDeletehappy reading!
~L
Ok - I'm leaving now. I've already ordered two of the above to be downloaded to my Kindle, and put half a dozen more on my wishlist.
ReplyDeleteAnd there are more that interest me!
I really do not want to buy any more books - but it's difficult when facing a list like yours. Luckily I have three of them, Sunshine, Gravelight, American Gods and the book by Leanna Hieber. Don't they all just look so tempting?
ReplyDeleteI want to read more Patricia McKillip.
Great choices! I read Crown Duel and Snow a few years ago and thought they were excellent! Sunshine's also pretty interesting as far as vampire tales go. :D
ReplyDeleteGreat pool of books to choose from! I look forward to your opinions, I've read exactly 3: Dragonsong, Serpent's Shadow and the Dragonlance one!
ReplyDeleteOoooh, I love your book pools, Kelly! 1. Because I love just about any list of books, and more specifically 2. Because you always have so. many. books. that I've never even heard of!
ReplyDeleteWow! Long list! I'll see you during the Mistborn group read. :) Have a fantastic challenge!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, now that's a list!
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a lot of books, and a very interesting selection.
ReplyDelete"American Gods" is just wonderful, one of my favorite books.
I'm also doing this challenge, and "Sunshine" is on my reading list for that too...
*eyes glazing over*
ReplyDeleteGOOOOOOOD pool to read from! I highly recommend Snow, Battleaxe and Green Rider! They are all some of my FAVOURITES!
ReplyDeleteWell, you sure have plenty of books to choose from. I really need to figure out which books I'll be reading for OUaT! Stephanie @ www.stephanieswrittenword.com
ReplyDeleteWOAH!!! Now that is a selection pool for the OUaT Event. I hope you have a fun time deciding which books to read..:)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great list of books! I can't wait to see what you actually read! I've been working on a list of books myself. I can't wait to write my own post up :)
ReplyDeleteA great list of books.
ReplyDeleteI like the cover for Snow, and I like re-tellings. I really liked Sunshine. I also enjoyed The Green Rider.
You make me not feel so bad! lol I have such a huge pile from my shelves - this is both good - lots to pick from - and bad - how do I have so many unread on my shelves??? lol Because of your list I just pulled Faerie Tale down to my pile, and Kristen Britain's second Green rider book - I really enjoyed the first one. I hope you enjoy the second Farseer book - it's one of my favourite trilogies - and ditto Tooth and Claw. Yaaay for Sunshine on your list! one of my favourite vampire novels. You have a really great selection there, Kelly.
ReplyDeleteThat's a big list! Good luck, Kelly, I hope you get lots of reading done.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great list! I can't wait to see what you end up reading for the challenge!
ReplyDeleteYou certainly have a lot of great suggestions for fantasy newbies here!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely pile of books! And you are going to do a Mistborn read along? Awesome! I can't wait to hear what you think of it.
ReplyDeleteOh, it's been so long since I read Dragons of the Autumn Twilight by Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman!! I loved it... Why did they have to grow old and some of them, die? T_T
