Pin it and Do it - A Pinteresting Challenge - Take 2

Hosted by Trish at Love, Laughter, and a Touch of Insanity
The Details (shamelessly the same as May):1. To participate you will choose your level and then make (or do) that amount of pins during August 2012. Challenge ends August 31st.
2. Report back on your Pin It and Do It success. On August 1st I'll post a linky for you to link up. Ideally this will come in the form of a blog or tumblr post. Or you can post about it on Facebook or Flickr if you don’t have a blog or tumblr. Or create a board on Pinterest for this challenge. If none of the above, report your success in the Wrap-Up Post comments.
3. Anyone is welcome to join. If you need an invite to Pinterest, let me know your email address and I’ll send an invite.
The Levels:
Timid Pinner: 1-3 Pins
Pinterested: 4-7 Pins
Pin Obsessed: 8+ Pins
I did this back in May and really enjoyed it! I might not have been an overwhelming success, but I did do a couple things.
My most successful project was my Calendar Journal that you can find here. Mine isn't as pretty, but it is practical and I have been updating it ever since. I look forward to looking back one I have completed a year. And, since my box is bigger I can add cards as necessary instead of being limited to the smaller space provided in this box. Plus, I talk more and need to be able to say what I want. I mean that while the example says "watched White Christmas"; I tend to elaborate on who I was with or where.
I really need to figure out how to take a decent picture!!
I think that once again I will do Timid Pinner. One of the goals for the month is #photoadayaug.

The rest... We will see how it goes...

  1. I'm doing this challenge too. I tend to pin and make food items but I'm hoping to squeeze a few nonfood pins in too.

  2. Good luck! I have yet to actually do something I pinned but haven't had time to even consider participating in the challenge. I can't even seem to remember to take a photo a day. I failed miserably in July. Better luck in August!

  3. I'm so glad you've decided to do this again! And I'm not giving up on my daily journal--just have to come to realize that I can't remember to do it daily. ;) Need to put it by my bed or something.

I have no idea what I'm going to do yet. Maybe some sewing projects if I can get my machine fixed and of course probably some cooking (ice cream?). can't wait to see what else you do!

I am so sorry, but I turned anonymous commenting off. I have had it from the very beginning, but that is how the spam is getting by my spam filter at the moment. If it is a big deal I will turn it back on and moderate all comments. I also changed moderation from older than 14 days to older than 7.
