I Have Been... Take Thirteen

Writing: I have been blogging. Yay! I am happy with my posting at the moment. I am not posting everyday, but I am keeping up a pace that works for me. Hopefully it will extend into 2014!

Reading: Okay, so, my reading is still slow... I am still reading Midnight Never Come by Marie Brennan. I need to work on my reading still...

Listening: I finished Hogfather by Terry Pratchett. I wasn't a big fan of the narrator to be honest, but he doesn't do the entire series... I am thinking I may stick with the audios, but we will see what happens. In the meantime I have started The Cloud Roads by Martha Wells. It is the first time I have read Wells before and I think I am going to like her. I also have book 2 in the trilogy and book 3 is available.

Looking: We went out to take picture of Christmas lights, but I wasn't impressed with how they turned out. I am having an off photography month... So, in the meantime I will just play with my Elf.

Day 19:
Learning: That it takes work to remember to enjoy yourself... I always feel guilty if I am reading when there are other things that I should be doing. I was doing a bit better with that lately, but I am sliding again. Take last night... There is a snowstorm on the way and I ran around doing errands and cleaning. It is not like the snow cares about the state of my house, but for some reason I wanted everything in its place before the storm hit...

Anticipating: I am still anticipating getting around to my TBR pile. I pulled some good books off my shelves to get to and I have been reading the same book for a week!

Loving: That all the progress that I have made on audiobooks lately means I am getting back in the swing of things with my treadmill. At least that is one thing going well lately!

  1. Aw, I like the one of the elf in the snow! It looks so cold. Poor little dude.

  2. Oooh, I have The Cloud Roads on my 'definitely want to read' list so I'll be waiting to hear what you make of that.

  3. Such cute pictures. LOL My reading seems to go in waves. Sometimes I am reading nonstop and other times I find myself struggling with it. I am so glad you are feeling up to blogging more again. :-)

  4. It's great to see you blogging more! Love picture 16 - that is so cool. Looks like Mr. Elf was walking down the street!

  5. Day 14 gave me a laugh! Indeed, I doubt cats are elves' best friends!
