Day 21 ~ Favourite Book from your Childhood
I always associate this as my first book that I read by myself. So, while there might be other childhood books that I enjoy more, this one has a special place! It is almost always the book I buy for all the various baby showers and babies I have come across over the years.
Dr Seuss is a hit and a miss for me. This one is definitely a popular. I love that you give it as a gift.
ReplyDeleteI recently read that Dr. Seuss wrote Green Eggs & Ham on a bet that he couldn't write a book with 50 words or less. Boy, did he succeed!
ReplyDeleteI never really read Dr Seuss as a kid! Maybe it's more of an American thing. But I definitely have quite a few of his books around the house now and the kids love them.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love this one! I reread all of Dr. Seuss' books last year and it was so much fun :)
ReplyDeleteI love Green Eggs and Ham. My favorite Dr. Seuss book, though, is Fox in Socks. I love the tongue twisters in that one, especially when you read it aloud. :)
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite Dr. Suess books. Probably, like Jenni, my second favorite. My No. 1? The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins. So underrated in the Seuss canon, I think.
