Howdy Everyone!

Sorry I have been mostly MIA, I do owe two reviews, but I have been reading a "chunkster" book and have been rather busy with that. I am reading The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons, so I put all my other books away on their shelves, because this is the book that I am concentrating my efforts on. I can see it is the sort of book that when I finish it, I am going to have to read the next one in the trilogy soon after, so I will probably be quiet on the review front. In a perfect world, I would like to finish this book, The Silver Rose by Susan Carroll, and my next J.D. Robb book by Tuesday. Then, I will start Tatiana and Alexander, which, when I just put on my night stand I made the mistake of looking at the back of, so I know what is going to happen, but not how it is going to happen. Book three is out in this trilogy, but it is not available in North America it seems. I only really started to concentrate on this book yesterday, so I have other books almost to completion that I will be able to read next month. If I finish The Bronze Horseman and Tatiana and Alexander by the end of the year, I think that is better than all those thirty books I want to read. The first book has been on my tbr pile for quite some time. The second hand bookstore I bought it at isn't even open anymore.

Me, the unromance reader, strongly recommends this book to those that have not read it already!

  1. I'm behind on my book reading as well. I've been trying to remodel at home and ugh, it's taking time away from reading. That sucks. :-(

  2. I wouldn't really consider TBH a romance, as many romance readers didn't exactly care for Tatiana, lol. It doesn't have the traditonal HEA. Anyway, I loved both books and there's a third, The Summer Garden that is only available outside the US. My copy came from Dymocks online and they were great but the DHL service they used for express delivery did deliver one book of mine to someone else so I can't really say I care for their delivery service. I'm sure this more than you needed to know, too. Take care.

  3. Well, not like a harlequin romance, but it is essentially a romance during World War Two. I can see why people would not like Tatiana, though. But, I am enjoying myself. I am actually getting book 3 from Australia... someday. :)

  5. Hey Kailana,

Er, do you have links for reviews for some of those books you read this year? Just asking....*grin*

  6. Sure, I haven't gotten around to linking the side bar yet. What ones were you looking for?

  7. Mostly your fantasy reads. I am in the reading mood for more good fantasy titles. I bought Swordpoint by Ellen Kushner yesterday (hope I got that name spelled correct) and I still have The Thirteenth Tale to read (I put it aside for the moment and I did read your review for it).
