There we are. I am not too concerned if I do not necessarily read what I set out to read. My goal with reading is to discover new authors and clean off the TBR pile so that I can not feel like I am out of control.
I'm glad you decided to join the challenge, Kailana! And yes -- no matter how much you get read, it's okay. Just enjoy the time you spend reading! I'm very curious about Cornelia Funke's books -- let me know what you think of Inkheart.
ReplyDeleteIn a dream world I will review everything that I read. :)
ReplyDeleteThe Alan Alda book looks intersting, I hope you review it! I think I might add it to my Amazon wish list.

Only you could actually pull of 20 books!! I checked out The Last Town on Earth from the library last week! I probably won't get to start it until next week though.
ReplyDeleteThe movie Flags of our Fathers was very good, but I'd like to read the book too!
Enjoyed checking out your reading list. The Alan Alda book has caught my attention! Good Luck!
ReplyDeleteAlan Alda the actor? He's hilarious, I'll bet it's a great book!
ReplyDeleteThat's an incredible list! I look forward to reading your reviews!
ReplyDeleteVery good list for a moody reader. A little bit of everything. Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteI hope you review the new Atwood book. I'm curious about that one.
ReplyDeleteHey everyone! I promise to read the Alan Alda book since so many people look interested. It came out in paperback late last year, and it looks really good! I meant to read it when I got it, but I just did not get to it like I had hoped. I also have been eyeing The Penelopiad, Chris, so I am sure you will see that one as well! I want to read all of them, so one never knows what ones will make it on the list. The best thing is that there is a little everything and these are majority of books from last year so they will fit my personal reading goals as well. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, and Katrina, you might notice that Inkheart is gone, but I am going to use it for the fantasy challenge that is supposed to be starting up soon, so there likely will still be a review!
ReplyDeleteVery smart, listing so many books to choose your five from. :-) That leaves a lot of room for reading what you want when the mood strikes. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI'm putting the Alan Alda book on my list. It looks great.
ReplyDeleteI am just finishing up the Alan Alda book now and it was really rather good!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, great list. I must live under a rock, I haven't heard of any of them except Alan Alda. I will sure be checking some of these out!!! Enjoy your reads!
ReplyDeleteGreat list -- enjoy!
