Once Upon a Time....

I used to be a blogger, does anyone remember those days? Well, I seem to have dropped off the face of the planet this month, so this is me saying that I am back! Did everyone miss me? I do not know where January is going to, but it is going by so fast, and I never seem to have time to do anything! I am behind in pretty much everything, so you will have to excuse me. I have even only read three books this month because I don't have time to sit down with my book! It is not a bad thing, though. I have had a good January so far, and hopefully it will continue. If not, these last few weeks should be sustaining. I hope so, anyways!

So, how is everyone? I am taking a snow day, as we are having ANOTHER winter storm, so I am about to spend my evening reading. Maybe make it four books for the month... haha... Anyone reading anything interesting? I am about to start something new, not sure what yet, because I finished book number 3 at work today. I hopefully have my reading groove back, but it wasn't so much it was gone lately, I was just too busy to enjoy it....

  1. I've been wondering where you disappeared to!

I'm excited that for all of about 5 minutes I am going to be ahead of you in reading this year...I've finished 7 novels thus far.

I've been very happy with all the reading this year so far and I have a ton of enticing books sitting next to me. I love those periods of the year, and this is one of them for me, when I'm so excited about so many books that it is hard to pick which to read next.

Glad you're back, hope things settle down for you. Enjoy your snow day!

  2. Glad you're back! You have been missed. :) I hope you have a wonderful evening curled up with a good book. I'm currently enjoying the Foundation series by Isaac Asimov.

  3. Hello! You were definitely missed. You're not the only one having a slow reading month...several other bloggers have said the same. January can be a weird month like that. I'm glad that books aside you've been having a good month, though.

I've been reading a lot of university stuff, so my reading for fun time has suffered. My last final is this week, though, so that's going to change soon.

  5. I wondered where you were but figured you were busy with work. I hope the storm isn't too bad tonight, although I'd like to see the muck go.

  6. It seems like a good time to take a break anyway, after the December rush to get off all the best of lists, and then you were hosting the Advent Tour. :-) We have missed you though!

  8. I was wondering about you too! Good to hear from you :) I love your definition of a "slow reading month"! If it makes you feel better, I'm still reading my first book of the year :p But to be fair, it's George R.R. Martin :p

  9. Hooray...so nice to see you back! Funny how those reading counts can be so relative. I've read three books this year, and for me that's pretty good!

  11. I'm still slogging away at my second book in the Four-legged Friends challenge! LOL! I'll be finished it soon, though - it's 'Firebird' by Mercedes Lackey, and I'm really enjoying it. I've been in a real Russia mood lately after watching two Russian paranormal films ('Nightwatch' and 'Daywatch'.)

  12. I've had that problem, myself - no time to blog or read. I've read 4 books, at this point, all quite short. It's good that your January is going well; I'd just blog when you can. Glad to see you posting!

Yep I missed you. Hope the snow isn't too bad but it's great if it gets you extra time to read!

My lame attempt at a poem. LOL! But it is how I feel.
