Once Upon a Time Challenge II

Okay, so I am hardly reading, but I really need to get reacquainted with my books. This means that I am of course joining the Once Upon a Time Challenge! I read a lot of books for it last year, was finished it really fast, etc. This year I will be lucky to complete it, but I am trying anyways! I am going to do Quest the First. This means that I likely will not make a list. I will just try and do this amazing thing known as reading and count the ones that fit! I have to read five, which I can do, so let's hope I accomplish it. It would be nice if this could be the beginning of a better reading year than I am having currently, but life is hectic right now!

Quest the First
Read at least 5 books that fit somewhere within the Once
Upon a Time II criteria. They might all be fantasy, or folklore, or fairy tales,
or mythology…or your five books might be a combination from the four
genres.

Wish me luck!

My List:

The Serpent and the Rose by Kathleen Bryan
Dragons of Spring Dawning by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman (Dragonlance Chronicles, Volume III)
The Golden Rose by Kathleen Bryan

  5. I'm so sorry that reading has been such a struggle this year...I'm more sorry that things are going on in your life that make reading difficult. You're in my thoughts. I'm so glad you're going to give this a go. It really wouldn't be the same without you and I appreciate your joining so much, I really do.

  6. Thanks everyone! I am hopeful this challenge will be just the thing I need to start reading again.

Carl: Thanks. I always try and join your challenges because they usually are perfect for me. Even if I am not really reading, it is not in me to not participate at all!

I am so sorry, but I turned anonymous commenting off. I have had it from the very beginning, but that is how the spam is getting by my spam filter at the moment. If it is a big deal I will turn it back on and moderate all comments. I also changed moderation from older than 14 days to older than 7.
