Bad Bloggers!

Hey everyone! I hope that everyone is having a good week, and to my fellow Canadians, that everyone had a good long weekend! I did! Sunday I went to a Blues Club that I have never been to before and they had an open mic-type thing. It was fabulous! You would never know the bands didn't play together regularly it was that structured. One member would walk away and another one would seamlessly take their place. I told the charming comedian that we have to go back next time we are able. I also saw one of my friends for supper at a tavern where we watched people dance! I spent the time we were there commenting on their shoes and how I couldn't walk, let alone dance, in most of them! It was entertaining!

Anyway, these are the books waiting for me to collect at the library:

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins - This book has been on there for a while, so I couldn't tell you who originally inspired it.

Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta - Another one that has been on there for a while! I do remember that it was Becky that originally convinced me that I should read it, though!

The Fox Woman - Point for Nymeth!

Then, some of the Shakespeare Mangas adapted by Richard Appignanesi:

Hamlet
A Midsummer Night's Dream
The Tempest

I am going to go with Heather for points. She hasn't read them all yet, but she is the reason I finally added them to the pile!

Now, I sort of want to reread the actual plays, too. I think I will be digging out my Shakespeare book today!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday! I don't know if I will update my blog again today, but I am in the process of visiting blogs!

  1. Yay for the Hunger Games! I hope you enjoy it. It's one of those books that I plan to actually buy because it was so sad to see it go back to the library. I don't do that very often.

  3. Amanda: I really need to get reading! I am looking forward to The Hunger Games.

Heather: Actually, I have four of them, so I guess that means four points! I really must update the sidebar...

  4. You know, the only Shakespeare I've ever read was Romeo and Juliet? I hated every minute of it but I like the story itself when adapted for modern day. Weird huh?

  5. Tink: I am not a huge Shakespeare fan, either... I must admit!
