Week in Review (28)

Random Thoughts

I am impressed that I am finding time to write this post. It has been a busy weekend! I like to have these posts for future reference, though, so I am making an effort to get this done. I didn't get a chance to read anything Friday or Saturday; so my reading for the week slowed down a bit. I am actually looking forward to this weekend being over and done with. It is been rather overwhelming.

Challenge News

I read Next to Love which will count for the Historical Fiction Challenge.

Weekly Reads

167. Resistence: A Woman's Journal of Struggle and Defiance in Occupied France by Agnes Humbert (Completed August 9, 2011)
168. The Well of Lost Plots (Thursday Next Series, Book 3) by Jasper Fforde (Completed August 9, 2011)
169. Next to Love by Ellen Feldman (Completed August 11, 2011)

There would have been more, but I didn't get any reading time. Monday will probably be my first chance to catch-up on things.

  1. Ah, I really enjoyed Resistance. I had to go search for it on my blog it was a while back but I remember it now. That was a good one! Hope you enjoyed it as much as I.

  4. I really enjoyed Next to Love. I see you have some Gaiman to read - I still haven't read anything of his. I'll have to give one of his stories a try someday since everyone seems to love them.
