  3. I took off verification also.. i hate doing it and hate not having it..wish they'd come up with a better one ..like one you could READ to do it! geez. I hate that not only do I have to delete them off my "spam" part of my blog but some come thru to my email and I have to see them there too! I sincerely do not get why people even bother to do that.

  4. Ooooh! I think I have The Distant Hours on my audible list! Or maybe it's another of hers. I'm going to join...just need to get with it (hoping for good naps today as it's a holiday). I'm mostly going to be reading books about psychos though (Dueling Monsters). And maybe I'll attempt Good Omens again...would that count? It's another I have on audible waiting for me.

  7. I really must read some Alan Bradley. I keep seeing all the good things people like Carl say about his books.

I downloaded a copy of Shadow of the Wind ages ago from Audible, but I've never got around to listening to it, because I hadn't realised it was an abridged version… Not sure what I'll make of it.

  8. You're so sweet to give the people what they want. :D Why do I suspect you'll read twice that many books though. ;)

  11. I considered putting Faerie Tale on my pile too, I own it. I might still read it anyway, my pool of books is not set in stone! It looks really interesting. I just picked up the first Alan Bradley book, so I'm excited to be starting him soon. I have the first Simon Green, Ghost of a Smile - again, not on my official list, but hanging around the edges trying to slide in! lol

I second Cath, Sunshine is a good read, one of my favourite vampire novels :-)

I'm so excited to see Jane Austen on there! yaay! I've read it several times, it's so much fun, I think you will enjoy it. I read Book of Lost Things a few years ago for the challenge and really enjoyed it too.

Excellent list Kelly, I hope you get to them all!

  13. I'd love to get to Shadow of the Wind this RIP but I don't have high hopes. Ha! There are always just too many books to read. Ridiculous though as I have two different copies of the book.

I read Northanger Abbey many years ago and really enjoyed it. It is a quick read and a fun play on gothic novels.

  14. I listened to The Distant Hours in audio and loved it! I have so much fun with this challenge because it's all the books I enjoy so I can't wait to add to my TBR pile!
