I Have Been... Take Eleven

Writing: Yay! I have been blogging lately. It had to happen eventually... Will I keep it up? I hope so, but who really knows... I would like to be better at it in 2014. I am warming up now!

Reading: Ha! Well, I finished Exit Strategy by Kelley Armstrong this morning. It was pretty good. I love her Women of the Otherworld series and it has sadly come to an end. It was about time I checked out the Nadia Stafford series just as book 3 was released.

Listening: I have been listening to Stiff by Mary Roach. I really like it! I mostly listen to audiobooks on the treadmill and haven't had access to it between moving and renovating, but that part of the house is finally cleaned out and I am getting back to it.

Looking: At elves! I got an Elf on the Shelf... Even though I have no children... I just wanted a creative Christmas project and it has been fun so far. I have been taking my regular pictures as well, but this is a nice break from the norm.

Day 6:

Learning: My way around. I am not really used to this area. I found the library but haven't been there yet. That I have to figure out how to manage my time better. There is just so much I want to do and I run out of time...

Anticipating: The holidays! Decorating! Finishing painting... Lots more I am not thinking about right now.

Loving: The new house. That I am reading and blogging again. That the holidays are almost here.

  1. I liked the Women of the Otherworld books -- good to know that you liked Exit Strategy. I haven't tried that series yet.

I like the elf in the glass with the interesting refractions.

  2. Love the Elf pics! So cute!

  3. Sounds like life is really good, Kelly! That makes me happy. :)

  4. I'm so glad you're in your new home and that life is settling down and back to normal (reading, blogging!!). Enjoying your elf photos! Happy holiday season to you!

  5. I really want to read Stiff, but I'm scared it will disturb me. I look forward to your review!

I love your elf pictures! I have children and they'd love it. I really should do some thing like that :-)

  6. Hahahaha, this is the best use of the Elf on the Shelf that I can imagine. It creeps me out as a child obedience measure (also because it has a sort of creepy little smile), but I love it as a photography project.

  7. I like your Elf on a Shelf photos! Those are so funny.

  8. It's good to see you blogging again, and you put me to shame in the bounty of your comments. Thank you for visiting me, and leaving them, and for being a faithful friend. Thanks for hosting the Virtial Advent Tour, as well. I love it!

    1. You know I know how to spell virtual...silly typing fingers...
