HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Sheila from Book Journey is hosting an event of sorts where you pick your first read of the New Year and post about it. I don't even know where to start because there are so many books I want to read in 2014. I am really hoping 2014 will be better than 2013. I was disappointed that I just didn't get to the books. So, what is my first read of 2014? Well, I have a couple books that I started in the last couple days of 2013, but my 'official' first book of 2014 is the newest Fables.
I might as well start with something I love, right?
I'm halfway through Hear The Wind Sing by Murakami, and although it's not a big book I probably won't finish it before midnight which will make it my first book of 2014. It is really speaking to me, and I keeping stopping to copy down quotes.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Kailana!

ReplyDeleteSounds like an awesome start!!! Not sure what my first read will be--as usual, I have so many started, and it just remains to be seen which I finish first. :P
ReplyDeleteI need to get back to the Fables series as I really enjoyed the first couple of them. This sounds like a great read to start off the new year! I'm starting it off with Starter House which is kinda creepy so I'm liking it :)

My First Book of The Year
My husband is a huge Fables fan. :-) I started the year with Somewhere in France by Jennifer Robson. I'm enjoying it so far.
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping your 2014 reads will be satisfying :-) Enjoy Redemption.
