Happy New Year! - First Book of the Year 2014

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Sheila from Book Journey is hosting an event of sorts where you pick your first read of the New Year and post about it. I don't even know where to start because there are so many books I want to read in 2014. I am really hoping 2014 will be better than 2013. I was disappointed that I just didn't get to the books. So, what is my first read of 2014? Well, I have a couple books that I started in the last couple days of 2013, but my 'official' first book of 2014 is the newest Fables.

I might as well start with something I love, right?

  1. I'm halfway through Hear The Wind Sing by Murakami, and although it's not a big book I probably won't finish it before midnight which will make it my first book of 2014. It is really speaking to me, and I keeping stopping to copy down quotes.

    Happy New Year, Kailana!

  5. I need to get back to the Fables series as I really enjoyed the first couple of them. This sounds like a great read to start off the new year! I'm starting it off with Starter House which is kinda creepy so I'm liking it :)

Btw, I played the video game and it was so good - The Wolf Among Us, it's episodic so I can't wait for the next part to come out.
