February in Review

What I Learned

I am so bad at reading goals... As the month went by I basically only read comics. That works, it was #ComicsFebruary, but I would have liked to work on my TBR and all the novels I am hoping to read this year. I hope I can get back on track in March. It was still nice to read the unread comics on my TBR. I have more to get to, but I need to make graphic novels less of a focus and get to longer works. It is time to stop getting distracted and read all the books I just had to have and never have got around to reading...

  1. I totally suck at reading goals too! I swear there's nothing like me saying I'm going to read something this month or this year or whatever to ensure that I don't actually read it. ;)
Do you like Black Widow? And The Woods? Two series I've really been wanting to try.
(This is Debi, btw. I'm just borrowing the guy's computer since I still don't have one.)

  2. I don't see anything wrong with reading exactly what you fancy. :-) Enjoy your graphic novels.

  3. Wow! You have read a lot of graphic novels! And I've only read a few of those. I'm trying really to move in the direction that by the end of the year I'll be only reading what I want. I have soooo many books on the shelves I need to read so I can clear them out of the house.

  5. I don't even bother with reading goals most of the time. Sometimes, I'll say to myself, "More nonfiction." That's about as far as it gets. :)

  7. I just pre-ordered the new Mercy Thompson book that's coming out this week. I can see that reading graphic novels would really complicate the issue of keeping tracking series! Good job on all of yours!

  8. I'm impressed by how much you managed to read this month! So many great and interesting titles, too! I really want to read The Woods. And I have Rat Queens on my TBR, I need to finish volume 1 and get to volume 2!

  9. My goodness, that's an impressive list! I hope you won't beat yourself up too much about not reading more novels. The grass is always greener, after all.

I really like the way you keep track of the series you're reading. I think I'm going to have to start doing that myself.

I hope March has been treating you well so far!
