Dragons of the Autumn Twilight by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman

Books Completed: 48
Completion Date: March 2007
Publication Year: 1984
Pages: 439
Book One in The Dragonlance Chronicles

Lifelong friends, they went their separate ways. Now they are together again, though each holds secrets from the others in his heart. They speak of a world shadowed with rumors of war. They speak of tales of strange monsters, creatures of myth, creatures of legend. They do not speak of their secrets. Not then. Not until a chance encounter with a beautiful, sorrowful woman, who bears a magical crystal staff, draws the companions deeper into the shadows, forever changing their lives and shaping the fate of the world.
No one expected them to be heroes.
Least of all, them.

  1. Enjoyed your review. Hickman and Weis are authors who I've never read. Not sure why other than they are two of many that I feel guilty that I haven't tried, being a self-proclaimed lover of fantasy and science fiction.

  2. I really liked the book, you should totally check it out. They are back together again, Hickman and Weis, and they have a new trilogy or quartet or something where they are bringing the characters in these books back together again.
