And, then, the mangas:
Miki Falls - Book 1: Spring by Mark Crilley was my favourite (which sucks because the library doesn't have books 3 and 4! Must figure out what I am going to do about that...)
I am also really enjoying 'One Piece' by Eiichiro Oda. I hope to work on my manga series this month. And, Emma is a given! It was volume 8...
ohhh you never reviewed Chariots of the Gods!! I knew you were going to read it.. i wish you could see the movie ..it was called "In Search of Ancient Astronauts" it was a tv movie but I see you might be able to find some stuff on youtube using that title.. but I'd still be interested to hear if it gave you pause to wonder.(not necessarily believe but wonder.. i wonder)
ReplyDeleteI can;t believe how much you read! I am looking forward to reading some of your reviews and I am glad you didn't really take your break :p
ReplyDeleteI could not help but chuckle at your "down" month of just 26 books. :) You know that I am in complete and utter awe of you, right? Seriously, the month that I can read 26 books will be followed by the month that I throw one whopper of a party to celebrate!
ReplyDeletePlain Janes was one of my favorite graphic novels, too. Are you planning on reading the sequel?
ReplyDeletePat: I will review it at some point. It did make me think, though! I'll get into it more when I review it!
ReplyDeleteRhinoa: Thanks! I hope to start next week with a steady stream of reviews. We will see how that works out!
Debi: haha, well, I did say it was still a lot of books, I just have read more! And, thanks! You read a lot for what you have going on in your life, though!
Melissa: I would like to read the sequel, but the library does not have it. I will have to decide if I want to see if I can get it from another one!
You're not serious!! You've read 26 books last month? You're fabulous, Kailana!
ReplyDeleteWait, wait, wait. 26 books is low for your monthly totals? O_O You're a marvel! (Which I think I've been saying to you for the past few posts, so I'll stop there.)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you read some good ones and some ones that I'd like to read too! (Btw, I liked Evernight but I wasn't crazy about it since I preferred Bartholomew to Lucas). Don't feel bad, I'm only just now almost through reviewing February!
ReplyDeleteAlice: Thank you! haha
ReplyDeleteLibritouches: This year it is low. Last year it would have been crazy high! And, thanks. lol
Tink: Glad you liked Evernight. I requested the sequel from the library, so we will have to see when that makes an appearance!
No fair, here I was all excited about my 31 books read so far this year and you had to post this! haha...
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are on track for a great reading year!
haha, sorry! Thanks, though!
ReplyDeleteGreat job with your April reading! I've still got books to review from january *sighs* And I haven't done an April re-cap post yet :/ Glad to see Plain Janes as your fave graphic of the month - I so much want to re-read this!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great month! My daughter and I will be reading the Edward Tulane book soon.

Diary of an Eccentric
Joanne: I was actually organized in January, but then it went all downhill from there!
ReplyDeleteAnna: The Edward Tulane book was good. I hope you enjoy it! Thanks for stopping by!
O_O I have to ask, how do you read so much? *mind boggles* No, let me rephrase that, when do you sleep? O_O
