Week in Review (18)

Random Thoughts

I didn't finish a single book this week. That's just depressing! I did read but just not enough time to complete anything. I think I might have too many other things on the go. I will hopefully sneak some reading in this coming week and actually finish something. I am reading a lot of good books. The challenges and things I am participating in are really suffering from my weird reading lately.

Postcard Project

I want to thank everyone for agreeing to send me postcards. I am very excited to see where I will stand numbers-wise as they trickle in. For those that I agreed to send postcards in return, I have just to write them up. I have the cards and stamps, but I just haven't had the time. I had originally planned to do them this weekend, but things have been too busy.

Also, if anyone wants to send postcards from places other than the U.S. and Canada I wouldn't mind.

My numbers: Canadian Provinces - 10/10 Canadian Territories - 0/3 U.S. States - 32/50

Poetry: Read More/Blog More - A Monthly Event

Just a reminder that Lu will have Mr. Linky from May 28 to 31. We will be announcing the group-read poem probably next week if anyone is interested.

Trish's Pinterest Challenge

I have posted two updates for the challenge so far: Week 1 and Week 2. If I manage to finish some books this week, they will count for the challenge.

Operation: Use My...
This month it is use my camera and I think I am doing pretty well so far. I have taken a picture everyday so far in May and some of them I am actually rather proud of. I posted a bunch yesterday, but this is one from yesterday that I think turned out really well:

  1. The last two weeks saw a lot of reading here, but not so much lately. I finished one more, Mr. Churchill's Secretary and am reading a memoir, but my projects are interfering with the reading again.

Looks like you are having fun with your photography!

  2. I haven't finished a single book this week either :-( Hopefully we'll both get back into the reading next week.

  3. Did you watch Sherlock live today? I taped it and will watch sometime this week. Looked fun! Way to go for all your challenges and projects... but you better get hopping with the reading! :) JK

I am so sorry, but I turned anonymous commenting off. I have had it from the very beginning, but that is how the spam is getting by my spam filter at the moment. If it is a big deal I will turn it back on and moderate all comments. I also changed moderation from older than 14 days to older than 7.
