Week in Review - Week 32

Random Thoughts

Just getting this done very last minute. I had a busy weekend and it threw my routine off. I also had a busy week and hardly read so not like I have much to talk about, but I didn't want to miss a weekend post after doing so well with them so far this year! It is not really a reading slump. The summer is just busy and I find it hard to work reading into my routine. I have been slacking on my audio, too, because of time never being enough. This means that I have been slacking on the treadmill, too. It has also been really hot, so that doesn't help motivation. Hopefully I will have more to talk about next week!

Weekly Reading

Monstress ~ The only book I read this week and it took more than a couple days! It was good and the art was awesome. I just couldn't find time to settle in with it! I read the first issue in a Humble Bundle and knew I had to find out what happened next. There was a lot of buzz about this release and it was well worth it! I enjoyed the story and the dark, original story. I can't wait to find out what happens next! Recommended!

  2. You can only do so much and, sometimes, other things take precedence over reading. I hope you have a great week!

  3. This heat seems to be killing all of us. I'm so miserably hot I can't even think about going outside without sweating. And for some reason reading is hard for me too. Whether I'm busy or just lazy I'm not sure but it sucks!

  4. I know what it's like to be busy. I haven't been able to read or blog as much as I would like recently. I hope things calm down for you some soon. It's finally cooled down some here, although last night I was so hot. I had trouble sleeping. The cover art on Monstress is gorgeous.

I want to reach into your pictures and pet your beautiful animals. :-)

I hope you have a great week!
