February in Review

What I Learned

February is usually my least favourite month of the year, so I decided to, well, hide behind books and other things. I was hoping to make things a bit better for myself. And, it kind of worked. I was a bit better this month and even read more than I feel I have for previous February's. Hopefully the reading year will continue to be a good thing. I have so much that I want to read!

  1. So many people seem to hate February. It's probably my favorite month. Doesn't hurt having a birthday then, or does it hurt to love winter and snow and cold as much as I do. And the addition of comics month starting last year has made it even more beloved. Anyway, Kelly, I'm glad that immersing yourself in the things you love helped get you through the month! And as usual, you made the most of your month--I will never fail to be awed by the amount of reading you get done! :) Here's to a Happy March!!!

  7. Seeing you and Susan - I think? - talking about What Makes This Book So Great, I definitely have to read it! I have read some of her stuff on the Tor site already, but it's obviously going to be a book to go back to again and again.

And heavens, didn't you read a lot of books in the shortest month!

  9. I just ordered Find Momo. It will be a gift for my granddaughter. I'm still reading What Makes This Book So Great. I keep forgetting about it when I pick up a new novel. My list of books from Walton's essays keeps growing!
