Random Thoughts
I did posts like this in 2009, but then I slacked off last year. I am hoping to bring it back as a regular feature in 2011. They are fun posts and make it rather easy to look back on things when I want to know something. So far I am doing really well on reading classics. That was the whole point of my eReader. I have finally read Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and H.G. Wells, as well as discovered the wonderful Jean Webster's Daddy-Long-Legs. I am planning to read Jane Eyre with Amanda from The Zen Leaf this month. I have never read it before! Other than that, I am trying not to put too much pressure on my reading.
Challenges News
I am participating in The Sci-Fi Experience hosted by Carl from Stainless Steel Droppings. This event runs during the months of January and February. I have all ready read The Invisible Man by H.G. Wells. My review is forth-coming.
Then, there is what I have been calling The Great Reading Swap of 2011. All my lists are included in one post. Heather, Nymeth, Rhinoa, Marg, and Amanda have all given me at least one book that I have to read in 2011. I am really excited. If January cooperates I am hoping to read Witness in Death by J.D. Robb, Blackberry Wine by Joanne Harris, The Monk by M.G. Lewis, and maybe Tender Morsels by Margo Lanagan. I have to collect all the books that Rhinoa suggested. I own them all, but I am separated from my books and constantly have to switch things around. Some of this might push into February. I am trying to pay attention to my reading without stressing myself out any.

The idea of the reading swap is so cool. That should be a lot of fun to discuss books. And, I hope you'll enjoy Jane Eyre. It's been so long since I read that but I did like it a lot. Isn't there a new movie version coming out soon? I need to look into that.
